"믿음 X 삶 = 열매"
[히브리서 10:23-24]
또 우리에게 약속하신 분은 신실하시니, 우리는 흔들리지 말고, 우리가 고백하는 그 소망을 굳게 지킵시다. 그리고 서로 마음을 써서 사랑과 선한 일을 하도록 격려합시다.
[갈라디아서 5:22-23]
그러나 성령의 열매는 사랑과 기쁨과 화평과 인내와 친절과 선함과 신실과 온유와 절제입니다. 이런 것들을 막을 법이 없습니다.
[야고보서 2:22] 그대가 보는 대로 믿음이 그의 행함과 함께 작용을 한 것입니다. 그러므로 행함으로 믿음이 완전하게 되었습니다.
“내 삶의 변화는 어디서 시작되는 걸까?”
우리는 종종 질문합니다. “내 삶의 변화와 열매는 어디에서 시작되는가?”, “하나님의 은혜를 입은 사람의 하루는 세상 속에서 어떻게 달라져야 하는가?” 많은 사람들은 더 열심히 노력해야 삶이 변화하고 좋은 열매를 맺을 수 있다고 생각합니다. 그래서 스스로를
끊임없이 증명해야 한다는 부담 속에서 살아가기도 합니다. 그러나 우리의 연약함과 한계를 마주할 때면, “나는 정말 충분한 사람인가?”라는 질문 앞에 서게 됩니다. 성경은 참된 변화와 열매가 인간의 노력에서 시작되는 것이 아니라, 하나님께서 베푸신 은혜와
믿음 안에서 시작된다고 말합니다.
참된 믿음은 반드시 삶이라는 구체적인 일상으로 걸어 들어갑니다.
2026-2027 KBS 에서 함께 묵상할 갈라디아서, 야고보서, 히브리서는 ‘살아있는 믿음은 반드시 삶으로 증명된다’는 복음의 역동성을 한 목소리로 외칩니다. 갈라디아서는 은혜로 얻은 자유가 ‘사랑으로 역사하는 믿음’이 되어 서로를 기쁘게 섬기는 겸손으로 이어짐을 선포합니다. 야고보서는 말씀이 귀에 머무는 지적 동의를 넘어, 소외된 이웃을 향한 손과 발의 실천으로 이어질 때 비로소 우리의 믿음이 완전해진다고 도전합니다. 그리고 히브리서는 이 거친 믿음의 경주를 홀로 걷지 않도록 우리를 공동체로 묶어 줍니다. 흔들리는 세상 속에서 영원한 대제사장이신 예수님을 바라보며, 모이기를 힘쓰고 서로 사랑과 선행을 격려하는 삶으로 우리를 초청합니다.
믿음 X 삶 = 열매 : 은혜가 이끄는 연합
본 주제는, 예수님을 믿는 믿음이 우리의 실제 삶 속에서 어떻게 열매 맺게 되는지를 보여 줍니다. 믿음이 없이는 삶의 행위가 많아도 결국 영적 열매가 왜곡될 수 있고, 아무리 믿음이 있다고 말해도 올바른 삶으로 표현되지 못한다면 이또한 열매가 되지 못한다는
의미를 담고 있습니다. 열매는 단지 눈에 보이는 성과나 업적이 아닙니다. 그것은 하나님을 더욱 신뢰하게 되는 마음의 변화이며, 사랑과 순종으로 살아가는 삶의 모습입니다. 참된 믿음이 삶의 토양에 깊이 심겨 반응할 때, 비로소 우리의 인격 속에 사랑과 기쁨, 화평과 인내라는 아름다운 성령의 성품이 차오르기 시작합니다. 나아가 이 성품은 이웃을 향한 구체적인 사랑의 손길과 공동체를 살리는 선한 행실이라는 풍성한 삶의 결실로 확산됩니다. 이 열매는 내가 율법 아래서 쥐어짜 낸 고단한 산물이 아니라, 포도나무이신 주님께 든든히 붙어있을 때 자연스럽게 맺히는 은혜의 결실입니다. 히브리서, 갈라디아서, 야고보서를 통해 새 언약의 풍성함을 배우고, 삶의 모든 영역에서 살아있는 성령의 열매를 거두는 경이로운 여정에 여러분을 초대합니다.

Where Does True Transformation Begin?
We often ask ourselves, “Where does real change in my life come from?” or “How should the daily life of someone who has received God's grace look different in this world?” Many people believe that life changes and good fruit come only through greater effort. As a result, they live under the constant burden of proving themselves. Yet when we encounter our own weaknesses and limitations, we are often confronted with a deeper question: “Am I truly enough?” Scripture teaches that genuine transformation and lasting fruit do not begin with human effort, but with
the grace God freely gives and the faith He creates within us.
True faith always finds its way into the realities of everyday life
Throughout the 2026–2027 KBS study year, we will journey together through Hebrews, Galatians, and James. These three books proclaim with one voice the dynamic truth of the gospel: living faith must be demonstrated through life. Galatians declares that the freedom we receive by grace becomes “faith working through love” (Galatians 5:6), leading us to serve one another with humility and joy. James challenges us to move beyond intellectual agreement with God's Word. Faith reaches maturity when it is expressed through practical obedience and
compassionate care for those in need. Hebrews reminds us that we are not called to run this race of faith alone. It binds us together as a community, encouraging us to fix our eyes on Jesus, our eternal High Priest. In a world full of uncertainty, Hebrews invites us to meet together faithfully and to encourage one another toward love and good works.
Faith × Life = Fruit: A Union Guided by Grace
This theme illustrates how faith in Jesus Christ bears fruit in the reality of our daily lives. Without genuine faith, even many outward acts can ultimately produce distorted spiritual fruit. Yet if faith remains only a profession and is not expressed through a transformed way of living, it also fails to bear the fruit God intends. Fruit is not merely visible success or human achievement. It is the transformation of the heart that grows in trust toward God and is expressed through a life of love and obedience. When true faith is deeply planted in the soil of everyday life and responds to God's grace, the beautiful character of the Holy Spirit begins to flourish within us—love, joy, peace, patience, and more. These qualities then overflow into tangible acts of love toward others and good works that strengthen and bless the community around us. Such fruit is not the exhausting product of striving under the law. Rather, it is the gracious result of remaining firmly connected to Christ, the true Vine. As we study Hebrews, Galatians, and James together, we invite you to discover the richness of the New Covenant and to do embark on a remarkable journey of bearing the living fruit of the Holy Spirit in every area of life.
